The following information is displayed for the "cautious". We are indeed a "real" business. We run a personal website and have real people working. The buck begins and ends in one place here.

Personally I don't like the canned, smooth professional sites. They are usually staffed with phone operators who don't know or can't answer anything for the customer. They want your money and go out of business as fast as they got into it. All of them are set up by programmers that want to become a business partner with never-ending updates.

I enjoy a personal presentation on MY website. At times I have been criticized by "know it all" computer nerds and a few "C.E.O" types that think they know how to stay in business. We exist in business for a lot of years and have found out that you can go out of business updating your website to satisfy the "know it all". My choice is to provide a business run in a fashion that stays in business rather that investing all my money to rewrite the website. For that reason you will get as much personal attention as possible. If you think the site is not professional, all I can say is that there are thousands or very professional sites, stock brokers, and investment counselors that are out of business and lost everyone all their money. It is possible to spend so much money on your website, over and over again that you actually spend yourself out of business. I prefer to remain in business and offer warrantees that are actually collectable... meaning that my business will be in business when you have a problem. Wizz-bang sites that spend all their money in development usually go out of business because of the debts they collect while starting off.

Outboardparts.com has been in business on the Internet longer than any other outboard parts company except one. That site published to the Internet the same month as I did. We are amongst the earliest Internet vendors, and actually pioneered Internet parts commerce.

We are also one of the largest outboard parts, retail, after-market suppliers out there.
